Cupcake Incorporation
Who knew you could incorporate something inherently “cupcake” on a layout that has NOTHING to do with the tasty morsels?
Scrap for a Cure came up with this challenge for this last week of January. I didn’t think using cupcake liners would come out so cute, but hey, I clearly need to open my mind a bit more. I used mini cupcake liners I probably purchased at Michaels, folded them into quarters and made them look like a big fat badge. I made the rest of the layout using Close To My Heart goodies – chipboard, papers, stickers, inks, and glitter. I especially love the letters. They come white, but rubbing them on an ink pad or stamping on them makes them perfect for everything. I can always get them to match! Oh, and another cute thing – I found wood for scrapping! Seriously. The neutral colored pieces you see are actually really thin pieces of wood. Neato!
